Flyer Women Finish 14th at NCAA DII Championships

The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« Women's Cross Country team closed out its 2025 season with a strong showing on the national stage, finishing 14th at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships Saturday at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. The Flyers battled through a deep championship field and showcased the depth and resilience that carried them through the postseason.
³§±ð²Ô¾±´Ç°ù (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) led Lewis with a powerful finish in 21:21.1. Junior (Indianapolis, Ind./North Central) followed behind crossing the line in 21:27.1.
³§±ð²Ô¾±´Ç°ù (Rochester, Ind./Rochester Community) was the Flyers' third finisher in 21:55.0, while senior (Frankfort, Ill./Lincolnway East) added a steady performance in 22:07.3. Freshman (Williamsville, Ill./Williamsville) rounded out the scoring pack, competing in her first national meet and clocking 22:32.4.
´³³Ü²Ô¾±´Ç°ù²õ (Yorkville, Ill./Yorkville) (22:57.0) and (Charleston, Ill./Charleston) (23:33.5) contributed strong efforts to complete Lewis' seven-runner lineup.
The Flyers' 14th-place finish solidifies another successful championship appearance for the program, marking a season defined by growth, consistency, and big postseason performances.
