Anna Senese Offers Inaugural Graduate Lasallian Address at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ«

“Our education at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ« has prepared us not just for careers, but for lives of purpose and service,” Anna Senese said during the inaugural Graduate Lasallian Address during Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ«’s Commencement ceremonies at its Romeoville campus.

“As graduates, we carry the responsibility to lead with integrity, empathy, and courage,” declared Senese, who earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ×îÐÂ×îÈ«.

The Geneva, Ill., resident works with TriCity Family Services, providing counseling and support to individuals and families, and has experience in youth and community service.

“We are called to use our knowledge and compassion to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others,” she noted.

Senese has volunteered with Royal Family Kids Camp and Shining Stars, supporting children in foster care, and holds a Sexual Assault Counseling and Related Issues certification through Guardian Angel Community Services. Senese is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.

The Graduate Student Lasallian Commencement Speaker is selected through a faculty and staff nomination process based on academic achievement, leadership, character, and commitment to the University’s Lasallian values of faith, service and community.
