Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
Recently, DHS/SEVP announced increased scrutiny of CPT authorizations. Due to the increased scrutiny and liability related to CPT authorizations, the Office of International Affairs is currently reviewing all of its CPT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the stricter interpretations of these policies. We are currently reviewing the CPT policy and process. Visa regulations are continually changing, and while we are committed to adapting as quickly as possible, we cannot currently confirm when CPT policies at Lewis will be re-established.
